The houses shown in our downloadable presentations are standard projects but you can give us your ideas and we will design a house specially for you without any additional cost.
We have many different types of houses starting from a one room holiday chalet to large four or five bedroom homes.
LUXURY WOOD HOUSES
The energy efficiency of wooden houses is far higher than houses made of stone, brick or concrete.
Timber houses are cool in summer and warm in winter.
All our wood houses come with a 100 year warranty but you can expect your wooden house to last much longer than that.
There are wooden houses that are more than 1000 years old in Norway, Finland, Germany, Austria and Transylvania.
The comfort and the beauty of a timber house is huge!
Wood is natural, soft and it smells great.
It is a natural material that is non toxic and absolutely ecological.
RUSTIC WOOD HOUSES
Wooden house are natural, warm, inviting and...alive.
Make a wooden house your home NOW!

The timber is dried and strength graded (selected to control strength reducing properties) and stored in controlled conditions.
Packs with excessively high moisture content receive additional kiln drying. Each individual piece then has three different electronic depth and surface moisture checks before acceptance for processing.
Ends are cut to an interlocking (finger) profile and glue applied.
A complete finger joint.
Pieces are fed end to end through a continuous joint pressing and crosscutting machine.
Long lengths are collated in sets to suit their intended beam or portal and cured.
After curing, faces are planed. Planed lengths travel at high speed through a curtain of adhesive giving uniform spread.
The glued collated set, in varying computer controlled lengths, is lifted to the pressing jig.
Before the adhesive hardens the laminations are pulled round a steel jig at 300/400 mm centres. Straight beams may have hydraulic cramping and radio frequency adhesive curing.
After curing under conditions of controlled temperature and humidity a special planer is used to remove adhesive squeeze-out and machine the wide faces to accurate dimensions.
A variety of quality checks are undertaken throughout manufacture. This rig is used to monitor finger joint strengths.
Glulam has several key benefits for the modern specifier:
Corrosion Resistant
Glulam will not corrode. It also has a high resistance to chemical attack and aggressive and polluted environments.
Superior Fire Performance
Glulam has a high and predictable resistance to fire. Unlike steel and reinforced concrete it will not twist or spall in fire and, in some countries glulam beams attract lower fire insurance premiums than steelwork.
Good Strength to weight Ratio
Glulam is one of the strongest structural materials per unit weight. Compared with structural steel or concrete it can produce a lighter superstructure with a consequent economy in foundation construction.
Large Spans
Glulam can be used over spans of more than 50 metres. Size, length and shape are limited only by the capacity of the various manufacturing plants or, more usually, by restrictions governing the transportation to site.
Versatility
Glulam can be made to almost any size and used for arches and portals, roof, lintel and floor beams, for columns, rafters and 'A' frames, cross wall purlins and joists.Members can be of uniform or varying depth.
They can be straight or curved to suit aesthetic requirements or to provide more structurally efficient designs than can be achieved with straight members. This scope makes glulam suitable for every type of building.
